FAQ
Our AZIMUTH technology allows treated water to be discharged into a watercourse, lake, or ditch, making it one of the most compact solutions on the market.
Our AZIMUTH technology is supported by a technical data sheet validated by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Change Action, Wildlife and Parks (MELCCFP)
The treatment performance of our technology is as follows:
|
Value | |
BOD5C | < 15 mg/L | |
TSS | < 15 mg/L | |
Fecal coliforms | < 50 000 CFU/100 mL | |
Ptot | < 1.0 mg/L |
Fecal Coliforms: With the addition of a UV disinfection system, performance will be < 200 CFU/100 mL after reactivation.
Phosphorus: < 1 mg/L if a phosphorus treatment system is added to the treatment train.
Thanks to these treatment performances, we are able to offer direct surface discharge of treated water!
The AZIMUTH treatment train has a lifespan of over 30 years. Our equipment is installed in extremely durable concrete or fiberglass tanks, and although some electromechanical components may need replacement as part of regular maintenance, the treatment train will last as long as the tanks.
Note: A polishing field typically has a lifespan of around 25 years.
Our treatment systems can be installed in all types of tanks: precast concrete, fiberglass, or cast-in-place concrete.
