Tailor Your System

Your projects are complex and come with unique constraints—a standard solution may not fully meet your needs. Our treatment systems are highly customizable, and our experts are here to support you.

Enhanced Treatment Capacity – Configurable in Series or Parallel

If a single KODIAK module is not sufficient to treat all the wastewater from your project, the ideal solution is to install multiple units, either in series or in parallel, depending on your needs.

Our team is here to assist you in designing your treatment train.

Technical Building – A Turnkey Solution

A dedicated technical building is not always required, as each KODIAK unit already includes a mechanical chamber. However, certain situations may necessitate one.

We design custom, mobile technical buildings that meet your safety requirements.

Ready to connect, easy to maintain, and tailored to your needs.

Access Designed with Your Safety in Mind

Because your safety is our priority, KODIAK units are designed to meet the standards of the most demanding clients. And because every project is unique, we offer a full range of access solutions tailored to your site constraints and internal procedures.

Every detail of the KODIAK is engineered to provide a reliable, safe, and durable working environment.

The KODIAK, Designed with Safety in Mind

Every detail has been carefully designed to provide a reliable and safe working environment, regardless of operating conditions.

Integrated Safety Features:

  • Secure access points

  • Sturdy galvanized steel guardrails

  • Ladders with safety line or cage

  • Galvanized steel stairs

  • Non-slip surfaces

Because your safety is our priority.

UV Treatment

All our KODIAK units are equipped with UV reactors to ensure optimal treatment of fecal coliforms. This technology allows treated water to be discharged directly to the surface, into a watercourse or ditch, depending on local environmental regulations.

UV reactors can also be installed in a technical building, depending on the site configuration.

Phosphorus Removal

Our phosphorus treatment process is based on a physico-chemical reaction that removes dissolved phosphorus from wastewater. Alum (aluminum sulfate) reacts with the phosphorus to form an insoluble precipitate, which is then separated by sedimentation.

The coagulant can be injected at the septic tank inlet or into a settler downstream of the biological reactor.

Dosing equipment can be integrated directly into the KODIAK mechanical chamber or installed in a dedicated technical building.

This treatment is required in certain regulatory contexts.

pH and Alkalinity Control

Certain reactions, particularly those involved in phosphorus treatment, consume alkalinity, a key parameter for maintaining pH balance in the system.

When the natural alkalinity of the water is insufficient, adjustment may be necessary to ensure treatment efficiency. This correction is performed using a sodium bicarbonate dosing system, either manual or automated.

Instrumentation and Control

Our systems are designed to be simple, robust, and high-performing. We believe that automation and reliability can go hand in hand, even in the most demanding environments.

We offer a full range of solutions for:

  • Data logging

  • Automated control

  • Remote communication

Pumped or Gravity-Fed Supply

Haven’t defined your site topography or installation conditions yet? No problem.

All our KODIAK units come with two water inlets:

  • One for gravity flow

  • One for pressurized connection

No matter your configuration, we have a solution.

FAQ

Fully manufactured in Quebec, Canada, KODIAK units are designed to withstand the extreme climatic conditions of Northern Canada. With units operating in Canada for over 15 years, the quality of the materials used, combined with the expertise of our engineering and production teams, makes KODIAK one of the most durable solutions on the market.

We design standard units (see KODIAK page). However, if a single KODIAK unit cannot handle all the wastewater from your project, the ideal solution is to install multiple units, either in series or in parallel.

Turnkey system, ready to operate upon delivery. The client only needs to connect it to the wastewater collection network and the electrical supply.

KODIAK treatment units are mobile, designed for clients whose operations require regular relocation. BIONEST provides comprehensive maintenance and service across Canada, including diagnostics and complete refurbishment at our Shawinigan facility.

KODIAK units are available for purchase or lease, depending on your project needs.

KODIAK turnkey treatment systems are designed to meet the needs of our most remote clients. Operating these units is remarkably simple, and our specialized technician teams are available across the country to provide support whenever needed.

Safety is a top priority. All KODIAK units feature non-slip surfaces on the roof, and we also offer a range of guardrails, ladders, and stairs to ensure safe access at height.
