Context

In 2008, a residence in Thetford Mines was equipped with a Bionest Zenith SA-6 Class 3 advanced secondary treatment system. This system met environmental performance requirements while providing effective treatment of domestic wastewater.

In 2023, following a fire that destroyed the home, certain treatment system components located inside the building had to be replaced. Bionest’s after-sales service team stepped in to quickly and properly restore the system to full operation.

Conclusion

This project highlights the importance of ongoing technical support throughout the lifespan of a Bionest system. Even after more than 15 years of use, our team was able to assist the client in getting their installation back up and running, while addressing the challenges associated with rebuilding the home.

With the addition of a Bio-R+ module, an HP-100 aerator, and a Biolarm alarm system, the system’s performance was effectively restored, while keeping the existing underground components in place.

This intervention demonstrates the long-term reliability of our systems and Bionest’s commitment to providing lasting support to residential clients, even in unforeseen circumstances.
