Supply Coordinator

The Supply Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the purchase of goods and services required for the company’s operations. They ensure adequate inventory levels, maintain the availability of raw materials, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery conditions.

Your Future Role

  • Plan and execute the purchase of raw materials, supplies, and services

  • Research, evaluate, and select suppliers

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery times, and purchasing conditions

  • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future needs

  • Place purchase orders and ensure proper follow-up

  • Resolve issues related to quality, delays, or billing

  • Monitor market trends and recommend cost-saving improvements

  • Keep procurement data up to date in the internal software

  • Participate in the implementation of the ERP system

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and inventory management processes

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and accounting departments

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal or regulatory requirements

Skills

  • College or vocational diploma in operations management, procurement, or a related field

  • Significant experience in procurement, purchasing, negotiation, and supplier selection

  • Experience in an SME or multitasking environment (an asset)

  • Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation (an asset)

  • Intermediate proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, allowing occasional communication with English-speaking suppliers and partners

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Excellent organizational abilities

  • Demonstrated rigor, autonomy, and resourcefulness

  • Strong team spirit and ability to collaborate with various departments (production, accounting, logistics)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, set priorities, and work effectively under pressure
